Virginia and Her Mother’s Journey into the Art of Crochet
Virginia Ghione started this small business at the age of 18; she can’t claim to have done it all on her own because that would be a big lie.
Her main companion on this journey is her mother. It was her mother who taught her the art of crochet and started creating their pieces together. Her creativity is what can be appreciated behind every project they undertake.
Today, Que lo Que is primarily composed of Virginia and her mother. Can they say they’ve done it all on their own?
Well, no! The people around them, friends and family, greatly support their project. They were their first customers, they serve as guinea pigs to try out new products, and they provide valuable advice.
But is that all?
Absolutely not! There is one crucial part missing, and that is all of you reading this article, those who have purchased one of their pieces or have simply shown interest in their project. Thank you very much to each and every one of you.
So, who are they?
Virginia, her mother, their loved ones, and all of you!
Que lo Que came about through a series of coincidences that all converged around February 2020. The desire to have a red crochet swimsuit, the eagerness to experience the satisfaction of creating something with their own hands, the nostalgia for the country that hosted Virginia for a year, and the arrival of the quarantine.
